Overview
Your own front door, with support on the other side of it
This is a self-contained two-bedroom unit on Howard Road, Goodwood, in Hobart’s northern suburbs. It is one of a small group of units on a quiet residential street, not a group home, and not an apartment block.
We offer it as a home for one person. The main bedroom is yours; the second bedroom is the support worker’s overnight room. You have your own kitchen, your own bathroom and your own living space with someone there through the night if you need them, and nobody else’s routine to work around.
Glenorchy’s shops, transport and services are about two kilometres away, and the Hobart CBD is a ten to twelve minute drive down the Brooker Highway. For a lot of people, this is the step between living with family or in a shared house and living fully independently.
