Helping NDIS participants live independently while providing quality support services
We assist in finding SIL homes that match your mobility needs, whether you require wheelchair accessibility, step-free entry, wide doorways, or accessible bathrooms with grab rails and non-slip flooring. We ensure the home you choose supports your independence and comfort.
We help you find accommodations with essential safety features such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, secure locks, and emergency procedures in place. Your safety and peace of mind are our priority when selecting the right home for you.
We assist in locating homes with essential amenities, including kitchens equipped for meal preparation, laundry facilities for convenience, and internet access to stay connected. If you require assistive technology, we help find homes that can accommodate your needs.
Our team helps you find a home that feels welcoming and comfortable, with cozy living spaces and personal rooms that you can make your own. We consider factors like climate control, cleanliness, and maintenance to ensure a pleasant living environment.

Our team is made up of caring and committed support workers. They're trained to assist with a wide range of needs, from help around the house to community access. Whatever support you need, our staff is here to help you achieve your goals.
We see you as a whole person, not just a set of support needs. Our approach considers all aspects of your life - your interests, home environment, and personal goals. We aim to support you in every area.
We respect and value diversity. Our team understands that cultural background plays a big role in care preferences. We're here to provide support that aligns with your cultural needs and values.
We begin by thoroughly understanding your individual accommodation requirements, preferences, and goals to ensure the right level of support and comfort.
We then work with you to find the most suitable accommodation, considering factors like location, accessibility, and whether you prefer shared or individual living arrangements.
Once settled, we offer personalised support tailored to your needs, helping with daily activities and ensuring you maintain as much independence as possible while feeling fully supported.
Supported Independent Living is an NDIS support that helps people with disability live in a home with the assistance of support staff.
In practice, SIL usually means you live in a shared home with other NDIS participants (or sometimes on your own) and have carers who help you with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, personal care, and going out into the community.
The aim is to build your independence while ensuring you have help where needed. Think of SIL as having a friendly support team available at home so you can live more independently rather than relying solely on family or living in a care facility.
No, you can contact us even if you don’t have SIL funding yet. Many people reach out to discuss SIL options and then, with our guidance, request the funding in their next NDIS plan review. If you don’t have SIL in your plan, we can explain the steps to get it (usually involving assessments and a proposal to the NDIS). If you already have SIL funding approved, we can move faster to find you a placement. Either way, we’ll help you understand the process and what’s required.
The number of housemates in our SIL homes typically ranges from 1 to 3 other people (so 2-4 residents total, depending on the house size). We put a lot of effort into matching people who will live well together. While you may not be able to handpick housemates, your preferences are absolutely considered.
Our aim is to get the fit right from the start, but we understand that circumstances change or sometimes things just don’t work out as expected. If you’re unhappy, we encourage you to talk to us. We’ll try to address any issues — maybe adjusting support, mediating any housemate concerns, or changing some aspect of the arrangement. If ultimately the SIL home isn’t suitable, we would work with you (and your support coordinator if you have one) to explore other options.
